- practice topic - related vocabulary with visual support.

- use most of the active vocabulary in the speech;
- do the tasks with minimum support using visuals

- use most of the active vocabulary in the speech with no support
- complete most of tasks correctly with no supportusing visuals
Assessment criteria: - follow the criteria in papers
- participate actively in discussion; talk about art and music using given vocabulary

Beginning 5 minutes
Greeting
Warm - up
(W) Learners sing a song “I am the Music Man” and dance with video about musical instruments.
Grouping: Learners will be divided into two groups “Piano” and “Guitar” by choosing pictures of these musical instruments
(G) Pupils’ books closed. Teacher will give the “Play the Music!” poster to each group.
Criteria:
Repeat after teacher.!
Listen!
Comlete the poster!
Point to each instrument in random order.
Checkig the pupils’ answers.

New vocabulary: Learners will repeat after teacher in chorus, in pairs and individually.

(P) Regrouping: Students will regroup by choosing cards with words. And they will match the verbs with musical instruments.

Speaking: Learners make sentences by using the structure When you play the … you have to … it.
Example: When you play the guitar you have to pluck it.
(I) Learners make sentences by using the names of musical instruments.
Example: I can play the guitar. I can’t play the piano.
Listening:
Pre – listening task:
Learners listen for the first time for understanding the main idea; after they have heard the song for the second time they write the names of musical instruments.

Leaners watch the video and write the names of musical instruments.
(I) Learners will guess the crossword individually from the activity book ex. 15, p. 54.
They will exchange works and check each other.
