To talk about sport, practise describing sporting events, write a description of a sport, to give their opinions, to be active in group working, to enlarge their knowledge, to use ICT in learning, to learn think critically, to develop their speaking, reading, writing abilities, to assessment themselves
1. Greeting with group
2. Students on duty
3. Dividing into 3 groups
Individual - cycling, aerobics, skiing, swimming
Pair - tennis, chess, boxing, figure - skatig

Team games - cricket, hockey, rugby, baseball
Show video and ask to answer the questions
• What traditional Kazakh games do you know?
• What sports and games are the most popular in your town now?
• What sports are the most dangerous and the least dangerous?
• What famous sportsmen do you know in your town? In what sports did they become famous?
• What team games do teenagers usually play in your town?
• Why is it necessary for teenagers to go in for sports?
• Are there enough stadiums, gyms and swimming pools in the place where you live?
• What sports would you enjoy most? Why?
Ask to make an association to the word "Sport"

1 группа подготовить сообщение о спортивной жизни города Актобе
The 2 nd – group - find out proverbs about sport using the internet and give their Russian equivalents
The 3rd - group - ask and answer the questions about their and their partners' favorite things then complete the table

Sport is fun for boys and girls.

And play snowballs with Kate.

Hockey, tennis, basketball.
You can jump and you can run.
You can have a lot of fun!
