The theme: MTV contest
The aims: a) To enrich pupil’s knowledge of knowing foreign music.
b) To develop pupil’s speaking skills and memory, also understanding foreign songs.
c) To bring up pupil’s aesthetic feelings.

Plan:

I. Introduction
Good afternoon dear teachers and pupils! You’re welcome to our competition! Today 2 teams will compete and show us their knowledge in music of nowadays.

Let me introduce the tours of competition and then we will ask our experts about their expressions.
1st tour - Warming – up activity.
Name as many foreign songs containing names as possible.

2nd tour - Guess the singer.
Pupils listen to 10 pieces of music and should guess the singer or music band; if they know the exact name of the song they get an additional point.
