The theme of the lesson: Halloween
The aim of the lesson:
1. To teach their understanding
2. To teach the pupils to share their opinions
3. To develop communicative activity of the pupils
4. To develop pupils habits in speaking, retelling
Visual aids: interactive board, balloons, decorations of the party, the placard with the pictures of witches and ghosts, costumer for the pupils.
The type of the lesson: competition
Teacher: Good morning friends, who came on this wonderful autumn day. And the theme of our lesson is called “Halloween”. Halloween means “holy evening” and takes place on October 31st. It’s particularly connected with witches and ghosts and it is celebrated by many people in the United Kingdom. And now let’s have a fun. Our pupils will show you the slice of “Halloween holiday” Good luck! Let’s start our lesson.

1pupil: Good morning, our lovely teachers, the pupils of our school. You are welcome to our English party by name “Halloween”.
2pupil: Do you know, dear friends what is “Halloween”?
3pupil: Oh, I know! I will explain you. Listen to me. It’s on the 31st of October. We usually make lantern. We can make some for party and put them just now.

4pupil: How do we make them?

5pupil: You take a large pumpkin and cut off a piece from the top. Then take out what is inside with a knife and spoon. Then we cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth and put a candle inside the lantern.(асқабақты көрсетіп)
