Nauryz
Theme: Nauryz.
Goal:
1. The students to develop their knowledge about Nauryz.
2. To teach students to work in groups, to listen other students.
Objectives:
1. Contents of the text. The pupils describe the picture about Nauryz.
2. The students learn to say their opinions and to listen others.
3. To work in groups.
Materials: cards №1.№2
Evaluation: KKW (БҮҮ ), Five line poem.
Outline:
I. Evocation: What do you know about Nauryz?
Know --------------------------------- Have known ------------ Want to know
-“Nauryz”- the Kazakh
New Year;
- The most important
holiday of the year;
- Listen to music, play the
dombyra and kobyz;
- sing songs;
- people play Kazakh games.
II. Realization of meaning.
The word “Nauryz” from - language. In Kazakh equivalent translate as
“new day”- the Kazakh New Year. In this day the people go to the street, sing
Songs’ play the Kazakh games, eat the Kazakh dishes. As “karta”,”plov”,”baursak”,”beshbarmak”( “five fingers”- a dish which consists of
noodles, onions and sheep’s meat.)
