1) To teach the pupils to use effectively their knowledge on the theme‘’ The pleasure of life” and skills of reading, speaking and writing.
2) To develop pupils logical thinking, memory skills
To educate the feelings of international friendship

Kind of lesson: Revision lesson
Methods and way: question - answer, diagrams, charts, illustrated pictures, pictures describing, “ Devowelized text”, “Copying dictation”. Crossword
Equipment’s: illustrated pictures, cards, grammar table, board.

T: Well, today we shall check our reading, speaking, thinking skills on the theme that we have learned at the previous lessons.
II. Brainstorming
T: So, look at the crossword and guess the title of the unit that we have must check our knowledge and skills.
1. What do you do with dead branches? (prune)
2. If you liked the party, you say: It was ……”?(lovely)
3. If you liked the food, you say “It was …….”?(delicious)
4. If you didn’t like the party, you say “I:…. It” (hate)
5. What do the people cover their faces with on holidays? (masks)
6. The special food at Christmas (pudding)
7. One of Christmas special food (turkey)
8. Children’s favorite food (sweet)
9. Things we give and receive on holidays as a present (flower)
10. Holiday present (gift)
11. English children’ s very interesting night (Bonfire)
12. Thanksgiving day food (pie)

Checking up pupil’s vocabulary skills connected with themes “Invitation”, “Holidays”, “Gardening”
T: Now, students we guessed the Unit’s theme “The pleasure of life”, so, let’s do some tasks connected with its steps. Look at the blackboard, and write down words as more connected with these pictures. You are divided into two groups.
1. Match the pictures with the holidays.
2. Write the words belonging to these pictures
“Picture 1 “Gardening”
“Picture 2 “Invitation”
3. Talking about these holidays.

T: So, the next task is to fill into the gaps with the words and phrases.
