Theme: Lesson 17. We like dancing.
The aim of the lesson:
• to develop and practice knowledge and ability in speech, to learn verb “to do”, to increase their vocabulary;
• to increase their opinion, listening, speaking, reading and each habits, to develop imagination and fantasy;
• to support interests and respect for studying English language, formation of ability to work in pairs, to help to each other.
Visual aids: books, cards and pictures

The procedure of the lesson
I. Organization moment
a) greeting;
b) asking for duty, date, day and weather.

II. Warm - up: repeat the song “Do You Like Broccoli Ice Cream?”
Do you like brocolli?
Yes, I do!
Do you like ice cream? 
Yes, I do!
Do you like brocolli ice cream? 
No, I don't. Yucky!
Do you like donuts? Yes, I do!
Do you like juice? Yes, I do!
Do you like donut juice?
No, I don't. Yucky! (Nod your head "no".)
Do you like popcorn? 
Yes, I do!
Do you like pizza? Yes, I do!
Do you like popcorn pizza? No, I don't. Yucky!
Do you like bananas? Yes, I do!
Do you like soup?
Yes, I do!
Do you like banana soup? No, I don't. Yucky!

III. Phonetic drill exercises:
ng [ŋ ]
swimming, dancing, reading, playing, song, sing, ring, king

IV. New lesson
T: Pupils, we take a new lesson. The theme of a new lesson is “We like dancing”.
Before to start our lesson let’s I introduce to you a new word:
lazy
clean the room
walk the dog
play with friends
Remember!
I → like → swimming
We → like → singing
You → like → playing
They → like → dancing

V. Doing exercises. Work with textbook
Exercise 1. Listen, point and repeat.
Exercise 2. Listen and tick.
Teacher: Pupils, let’s say a tongue twister.
Pat’s black cat is in Pat’s black hat.
T: Pupils, you don’t have to learn it by heart in 2 minutes.
Exercise 3. Write.
Exercise 5. Listen and sing.
I like swimming, swimming, swimming.
I can swim in Balkash.
You like reading, reading, reading.
you can read Abai’s books.
We like singing, singing, singing.
We can sing Kazakh songs.
Exercise 6. Speaking.

VI. Game: “Sounds and letters”
Teacher write on the black - board some words and pronounce a short one. Pupils must count how many sounds and must answer by making a clap. (the dog – 3 sound, girl – 3 sound)

VII. Concluding stage.
a) giving marks: P1 – “5”, P2, P3 – “4”, P4, P5 – “3”
b) giving a homework
T: Pupils, your home work will be exercise 4 (Look and write) and to learn by heart the new words.
