Developing: to develop students’ imagination, reading, speaking, listening, writing skills, critical thinking;
Bringing up: to bring up students accuracy, responsibility, activity and interest to the subject. Methods: brainstorming, answer - question, individual, compare work Type of lesson: new Aids of the lesson: textbook “Hot Spot – 1”, interactive board

Lesson procedure:
I. Organization moment
T: Good afternoon, children. I am very glad to see you happy and healthy at our English lesson. Today we are going to have a new theme. I think our lesson will be interesting and useful. Please be active and friendly to each other.

II. Psychological moment
T: Today is the 15 th of February. Yesterday it was St. Valentine’s day. That’s why I want to tell you how I like you. (slides 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
– You are so happy as these animals!
- You are so merry as this sun!
- You are so beautiful as these flowers!
- You are so friendly as these friends!

III. Checking up the homework: Mini project “My day after school” p. 61 (SB)
IV. Presentation of the new theme
T: Well, children, have a look at the blackboard, please. Here is a puzzle for you to do. Name all the words in the pictures. Take only the first letter of each word and you’ll read the topic of
today’s lesson. What keyword have we got? (Daily routine) slide 6
V. Grammar Spot: Prepositions of time
T: We use the preposition “in” before the names of the months ( in September) and the parts of the day ( in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening ). But we say “ at night”, “ at midnight”.
When we speak about the time we use “ at “ ( at 9 o’ clock). (slide 7)

T: Look at the board! Let’s remember the time. (slides 8, 9)

V. Work on the text
T: Now open your Student’s Books. The title is “A day with the Gloom family”. Who are the members of the Gloom family? (pupils remember the members)
a) Look at the topical vocabulary:
1. wake up - ояну
2. get dressed - киіну
3. have a snack – жеңіл тамақтану
4. leave home - үйден шығу, кету
5. invention – ойлап табу, кету
6. rug – кілемше
7. skyscraper - көк тіреген үй
8. surf the Internet – интернетте жұмыс жасау

VI. Comprehension check
T: Now ask and answer the questions about the day with the Gloom family.
– They wake up, get up and get dressed at ten to seven. Etc.
