I. Greeting: Good afternoon, dear students and guests. Glad to see you!

S - 1 For a long time too little attention was paid to the environment. Today the situation is quite different. People all over the world are worried about what is happening to the environment. Newspapers and magazines write about water pollution, air pollution and soil pollution.
S - 2 Ecology is the science of how living things are related to their environment. Many people all over the world are concerned about the ecology today. The word “ecology” came from Greek which means “home”. This idea of “home” includes the whole planet of ours. We must protect our planet from littering, air pollution, water pollution, destruction of natural resources.
S - 3 Our factories put their waste materials into water and atmosphere and pollute the environment. There are many kinds of transport in our big cities, that’s why we must pay attention to the protection of our nature and the health of the people.
S - 4 I Want to say some words about radiation. Now it has become one of the main problems. It is not good for health for people. Many people died from radiftions in Chernobyl. It was a tragedy.

VI. Conclusion of the lesson: Our time is over. But I’m sure that you are real friend of our planet. The air we breathe, the soil on which we stand and walk, the water we drink are all part of the environment. And it’s important to take care of our nature, of our environment.
