• Развитие и совершенствование коммуникативной компетенции посредством обогащения словарного запаса на основе текстового материала профильной направленности; для общения в поликультурном обществе.
• повышение мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, с учетом потребности в практическом использовании английского языка в будущей профессии;
• Формирование полиязычной, поликультурной личности
• Обобщение материала по темам «Здоровый образ жизни» и «Мой рабочий день»

• Развитие коммуникативных навыков по темам «Здоровый образ жизни» и « Мой рабочий день»

Aims/objectives:
♦ To develop overall language skills, to develop skills for speaking in policultural society.
♦ enable the student to use language(s) effectively as a means of practical communication, providing a sound base of communication skills necessary for future study, work and leisure
♦ enable the student to understand the nature of language and the process of total language learning, which comprises the integration of linguistic, cultural and social components
♦ enable the student to develop an appreciation of a variety of literary and non literary texts
♦ promote involvement with different communities, where relevant
♦ provide access to varied sources of information
♦ foster curiosity, a lifelong interest and enjoyment in language learning.
♦ to talk and discuss about the rational using of the students day time.

4. Brainstorming: “What makes your perfect day? Is your day perfect? and How would you describe your dream day?” Why? What is your dream day? - 8 min
(Students are split into 2 groups and given a paper clock to describe their working day and a dream day. Which day are you choosing? Why? Do you think your day is perfect?
5. Video - Listening - comprehension “Soldiers”. (10 min) “What makes a good soldier?” Does your working day help you to become stronger? How? In what way? 8 min
6. To become a good officer we ….
2 teams have a competition in making sentences with linking words and other structures (4min)
7. Outcomes: Activity with adjectives for matching with photos.
Students are involved in describing their ultimate personal profile. (7min)
